Congratulations to everyone who received GC'S or had successful interviews this week - it is fantastic! :D

I've just completed my first week at my new job - I had a great time! But WOW...I had forgotten how tiring a 45hr week was - and how there is little time to do much else mid week. I am in no way complaining though, I'm very happy that life is settling down for me and my other half :) No news from CSC regarding my case however - its starting to get a little annoying - Oh well...patience is a virtue and all that...

Yup, we got one before the interview letter arrived.

On December 9, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for January 11, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER.

Hello

My Husband and I had our interview at Los Angeles downtown office today.

We Sworn in by the IO. Then we Sit down and handed over our drivers licenses, passports, old EAD. The officer started with the basic questions on what is your wife/husband's name and then she ask me all the information that was in my I 485. She ask my husband all his personal information and that was all. She walk away and stay in other office for about half hour and when she come back she apologize she tell us that she was asking something to her boss because she was new in that office and then she tell us that our application has been approved.

That was all! She talked about I 751 and we were all done. The officer was really friendly she explain us about the citizenship and how important was to don't stay outside of the US for long periods of time. Clearly she had her mind made up before we even sat down. After all i bring a suitcase of evidence and photos with me she never ask me for nothing.

Most important of all, She give me a letter that my application was approved and that i have to wait from 2 to 4 weeks for the card. I my card production has been ordered so I should have my card soon! Yay!

We are getting so incredibly frustrated. It seems like we are one of the very few October filers that haven't gotten an interview date or letter or anything. Unfortunately they decided to wait until December to transfer our case to the CSC. Colin would really like to start working. He has a job waiting for him but I don't know how long they will hold it. I'm happy for all of you that have gotten your cards already. Just sad that we seem to have gotten shoved to the back of the line.

You are not the only one, it seems like most were transferred within a month of filing (if transferred at all), but mine wasn't transferred until the end of December, so like you I feel a little left behind. We may be waiting a while longer, since there are people from August and September who were transferred and still haven't received their GC. But doesn't he have his EAD by now?

i just had my interview today in seattle office! supposed to have my interview last jan 18 but it was cancelled due to bad weather. it was rescheduled today finally! i brought my 3month old baby with me in the interview.

my interview was scheduled at 11am and we arrived at 10:40. i was called at around 11:10. many people are already waiting to be called. so when I heard my name called by the IO she asked me where my husband was? I told her he is currently deployed and asked if my mother in law could come with me inside to carry my baby for me and she said its fine.

as expected we started with the oath and swear to tell no lies blah blah blah. after we seated she immediately asked me if I have with me my husband's orders and I told her that only a letter from his CO was the one that i brought. she said it fine and I gave her the document she is asking for. then same sets of questions like in k1. when and where did you meet? how many times did she visit me in the Philippines. then she asked for my son's birth certificate.

I can't give her the original so she kept the photocopy instead. Then she keeps on writing down notes as I answer all her questions. Also, she asked for wedding photos and scanned everything that I prepared. during the whole time of the interview my son has been crying. hehe. poor baby. So the IO turned to my son and told him that we will be done soon and then finally turned again to me and said that I will receive my green card in 4-6weeks. yey! upon hearing that I smiled and thanked her and said goodbye.

I am so happy to start february with a very good news! I'm just glad this is about to end. i hope to receive the GC sooner so that I can get an SSN and my husband can file

his taxes soon and claim me and my son as his dependents.

God Bless us all.

can somebody tell me for those who were able to receive their GCs? how many days from their interview did they get their GCs in the mail? :)
