I hope the EAD fixes everything, if it ever arrives. Thats a lot of pressure on this one quick fix. My patience is wearing so thin, I am not sure how much longer I am going to sit around and wait until I just decide to leave and go home. Not to mention, I will have to if my savings run out.

I called them again today and spoke to the most useless woman in existence. The tier 2 people are as bad, if not worse than the tier 1 people. I was told not to call back for 30 days. My fate lies in the hands of an organization with less intelligence than a slot machine.

Why would you have to go home?? Be patience, if you go home you will screw up all what u have done already!! And about your savings... can you spouse help you out?? Its not too hard to feed 1 more person I think :)

Well, we're back from Tokyo and the interview is finally here tomorrow!

I'm excited but also a little nervous!

I knew Advance Parole wasn't going to be very easy but it was a bit more painful than I had hoped. More on this in a couple days.

Thanks for the wishes tokyobelle and Gabbi !! Interview in 8 hours!

My two super secret weapons are pictures of both our families at the wedding ceremony and the fact that she updated her family register to reflect our marriage. (We got copies from the city hall in Tokyo. It includes my name and everything!)

Well, hope that's enough!

This sounds horrible to say but it's nice to see other people as frustrated as we are. Colin and I don't fight too much but the guilt he feels because I am working so much and he can't do anything puts a lot of tension on the relationship. Although, as he told me last night, now we see why the government has such strict income requirements. We mailed our AOS at the very end of September, has the biometrics on December 7, then on the 15th our case was transferred to the CSC. I hear good and bad things about it being transferred. Some people have been waiting over a year to hear anything, others got their cards in a month.

We are moving in a couple weeks so we'll have to deal with the address change process. Colin is getting so bored at home. Minnesota winters can be very long and boring if you don't have anything to do. He's not much of a volunteer person so that's out of the question. I bought him a bearded dragon to keep him company during the day. Sounds silly but it keeps him busy.

Hope everyone's interviews go well. I hope those of you who are waiting like we are, hear something soon. I hope the tensions in our relationships ease up a bit. Best of luck to us all.

Success!!!!!!! :energy:

We waited about an hour before the interview started but the interview itself only lasted around 15 minutes!

Very easy and quick! Looking forward to getting the actual greencard. I will write more about it later!
