Just got our letter of action in the mail today stating our initial interview for 1-485 will be on January 12th, 2012. Our case was never transferred to CSC. Hope that doesn't mean anything bad :( Nothing on EAD yet either.

I can hear you on that...they seem to do things pretty randomly. There are some people with our same timelines that already have either the EAD or the green card in hand and us still on Initial Review..I can't f***ing stand that status anymore..

Well, if you go with the timeline here (it was fairly accurate for us) then: Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between December 13, 2011 and December 21, 2011*.

Yep and I am within that week and waiting for any kind of news - this makes waiting even harder, hah...

I didn't pay much attention to that timeline because it was a couple months off for us when we got the NOA2 for the K1. So I'm not placing much faith in it, but we'll see.

Is there a point at which I should call USCIS for a simple check-up, or will this make them angry? Its just, seeing all these updates on this thread (and the november thread!) while I've had absolutely no news is very stressful.

Hah! Lucky you. I'm not even on Initial Review. I'm still stuck with "Case number not found", even after I've had my biometrics. I Guess I should call them.

Biomentrics appointment: 8th November 2011

RFE on my I-485: 21st December 2011

Mailed RFE documents: 10th January 2012

RFE documents received and under review: 13th January 2012

I-485 transferred to California Service Center: 23rd January 2012

EAD in production: 25th January 2012

EAD in hand: 4th February 2012 (128 days after filing)

Green Card approved (Without interview): 6th March 2012

Green Card in hand: 12th March 2012
