Hello October Filers!

Just got an email for my EAD "On December 2nd 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you". I don't know why it took so long to receive the email after approval, I must have got caught up in the USCIS site maintenance that happened this weekend. So happy that being able to work is almost in my grasp! I have yet to receive anything about my AP, although they're meant to come as a combo card...hmm!

Good luck to everyone still waiting for their EAD/AP approval! :D

same here.. I rec'd that update today about Dec. 2nd, we should hopefully get it sometime this week or early next week :)

Let's keep our fingers crossed! I haven't received my second email yet stating that my card has been mailed. So I'm hoping that my card arrives next week. Hopefully yours will come this week as its meant to take 2-3days from you second email as they send it priority mail.

Good luck to you and let me know how it goes!

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony. 

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.

Congrats to everybody on their EAD/AP approvals! I just did my biometrics today in Baltimore. We tried to walk in and do it earlier, but it didn't work out.

Hello Kaibosh,

Fortunately I have been lucky enough view my account. I know its easier said than done, but I would try not to worry about it. We all know how inconsistent USCIS is! I signed up for email/text updates and the USCIS site told me nothing more than the emails told me. The only bonus to the site is viewing your "touches" but I didn't get "touched" once between my case being accepted and my EAD being approved. Congratulations on your interview being set, at least you know everything is moving along nicely! :D

Still no movement on the EAD from October, so I wonder whether they didn't do anything with it as they new the green card would get there quicker?

I wOnder if they look at your greencard status while working on your EAD and just say forget it if your green card is close?

That's great and I hope you get it this week also. A few hours ago, I got the "post decision activity" update saying that the ead was mailed out today.
