Had the interview today @ 8AM in Baltimore. Interview lasted 20 minutes, and passed

Was told to come back @ 11:45AM for the oath ceremony, ceremony began @ 12:30PM and lasted about half-hour.

Glad it's over, finally!

when to the infopass this morning and I'm very frustrating all they said is it still pending to wait for another month or two ..smh they must be out of there freaking mind! i'm getting in patient now ubelieveble! i don't really care by now if i get dinied i just freaking hate all this waitng B!#$%T excuse my french!

Sounds like they are waiting on a response from somebody, somewhere. Short of getting a lawyer, all you can do is get the Representative for your Congressional district involved, or your Senators. Senator Boxer used to help us veterans and guard members cut through the red tape when she was our Representative in the House (about the only thing I like about her). You can try her office as well.

It's not automatic. The applicant has to request the court hearing.

If USCIS fails to make a determination within 120 days after initial examination, the applicant may request a hearing in the United States District Court. [see section 336(b) of the Act.]

Had my interview today and passed! It was extremely easy; was told to wait for oath ceremony, my husband wa allowed to stay with me during the interview,I am hoping dont have to wait long for the letter, then I can file for kids n600, God is truly good!

Joker I'm praying for you man but to be honest I'm concerned about how they're reacting to your criminal record... I can't remember the things you went to court for, but if any two of them were crimes involving moral turpitude (there is no time limit if you got two CIMTs), or were drug-related, or aggravated felonies, you're not only looking at getting citizenship denied, you can very well be deported...

If that's the case, and you weren't on their radar before, you might be now because you applied for citizenship.

And remember dismissal by community service is still considered a conviction by USCIS.

I know you didn't retain a lawyer but you may at least wanna check out the LA Bar Association Immigration Legal Assistance Project at http://www.lacba.org....cfm?pageid=423 ... they're a free legal clinic in the same building in LA and they can answer questions for just 20 dollars... I went to them twice during my application process. They can at least assist you in making sure you make the right moves from here on out (personally I would not mail the senator until I get an okay from a lawyer, I'd be concerned about drawing more attention to my case).

Joker64, I agree with arvinb. I think you should lay low while it is still being processed. If the decline it you can always appeal to court. The more you push it can fireback. Stay cool and wait. We all are wishing the best for you.

ok I'm gonna hold on mailling the letter thanks for the head up that is so true!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!! but did had a drug case but never got convicted on it i end up beating the case and as far for aggravated felonies i don't have any! thank you two for the concern is greatly appreciated ! I'm cool on the lawyer thing all they want is $ and try to scare you! I'm gonna man up to this one till the end! THANKS 4 HANGING IN THERE WITH ME MUCH LUV!
