I had a wonderful and touching ceremony today.

okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

03-05-2012 Received 3 text and 3 email receipt notifications

03-07-2012 $1,490 poorer - both checks cashed

03-12-2012 Received NOAs for all 3 applications

03-16-2012 Received Biometrics Notice for Apr. 2

03-19-2012 Successful Walkin Biometrics

04-09-2012 Received text/email about scheduled interview for May. 11

04-12-2012 Received a hard copy of an interview letter

(Day 1) 04/20/08: Application sent.

(Day 73) 07/02/08: EAD,AP Approved!

(Day 108) 08/05/08: AOS Approved!

(Day 114) 08/11/08: 2 years GC received.

Ok so after all of this I finally got scheduled for the Oath!!! Yaaay.

But guess what i also got a speeding ticket last week, I will pay the ticket but i will also have to indicate in on N-445. Is this going to be ok, or will my process be delayed??

Cant believe this happened to me!!!

10/06/2011: Documents sent to Dallas

10/17/2011: Received NOA (dated: 10/14/2011)

11/01/2011: Status change: Testing and Interviewing

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

01/06/2012: Status Change!!!: Initial Testing and Interviewing

Tatsi - Such things happen. Make sure you pay off the ticket and carry the proof. This will not delay your Oath. Don't let that worry you. Enjoy your Oath ceremony and please post your experience.

10/12/11: Sent N-400 to Dallas lockbox via USPS certified mail

10/18/11: Delivery confirmed

10/21/11: Check cashed

10/25/11: Got NOA by mail. Priority date 10/18

10/28/11: FP notice received by mail

11/18/11: FP done per schedule

01/03/12: Yellow letter received (dated 12/12/11)

01/06/12: Status changed to Testing and Interview (inline for scheduling)

01/18/12: Status changed to Interview Scheduled

01/21/12: IL Received

02/23/12: Interview: approved. Oath: completed

As long as the fine is under $500 traffic tickets should not matter.

Ok guys I know I am inpatient :blink: :blink: :blink: but I made an Infopass appointment today for April 5th. I know that it is only 1 month passed since my Interview, but the officer told me that the decision will not take longer than 2 weeks, and all my immigrant friends here in Orlando got their approval and oath letters same day they had interview. I know for sure local USCIS office has Oath ceremonies every Friday, so I don't think they are super packed. :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: I hope I will have some good news before April 5th, but if not at least I will check what is happening, and if they give me the same story about 180 days processing time, my husband is ready to write a letter to Congressman. I know we shouldn't panic or get upset. But my husband is deployed now and is very disappointed that Government agency treats him like that. :wacko: :wacko: He cannot understand that some people wait even longer as he is US born citizen and never had immigration issues before he met me :blush: :blush: But for now I will patiently wait for April 5th :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: Congratulations to everyone who got their approval/ oath letters :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

Hang in there, you'll get it. You are almost there. I felt the same way like you felt and finally they sent me the email and waiting for the letter to come.

My wife called me and we got the letter with Oath Ceremony Date. It is scheduled for 4/20/2012. Currently I am scheduled to come home on 4/22/2012. Now I have to see what I can do to complete my finals in the med school early and fly back to US on 4/18 or 4/19 and attend the ceremony on 4/20. I am glad things are finally coming together.

My wife called me and we got the letter with Oath Ceremony Date. It is scheduled for 4/20/2012. Currently I am scheduled to come home on 4/22/2012. Now I have to see what I can do to complete my finals in the med school early and fly back to US on 4/18 or 4/19 and attend the ceremony on 4/20. I am glad things are finally coming together.
