3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

Ok. I went to the interview. It was very pleasant and very nice. IO is a lady. She is very considerate. She said if I am going to trave for 14 months I should complete Oath soon and then started the interview. Asked me to read/write english and asked civics queston. I passed. Then she went through the applicaton. She asked about the court certified records for the arrest in 1988. I gave her both court certified and non certified documents in a pile. She said she needs time to look into the documents before she can make the decision. So she gave me a letter saying the decision will be mailed to me. I asked what are my chances. She said looks good and she is leaning towards making recommendation but she needs time to go through the documents. She said there are oath ceremonies scheduled in March / April and I should complete the oath soon if I were to study aboard and travel for next 14 months. I am flying back to Aruba on Sunday to continue my classes in the Med School. Hope to put all this behind and move on. Last few weeks has been so much emotional ups/downs. Now I can get back to my life and focus. I have to say the IO is very nice and my experince with the interivew is very pleasent and I worried too much. I am keeping fingers crossed and wait for the news.

ConcordUser - I'm glad that you are done with the interview step and also that you had a pleasant IO that made you feel confortable. All you're describing sound positive to me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you to have news soon so you can take your oath to continue your studies overseas with not worries. Congrats and good luck! :)
