She swore me in and then went over my application. I had reported 3 traffic violations and she did not want any documentation - she just noted on my application "traffic citations only" and moved on. I gave her an updated trips list. She did not look inside either of my passports to verify any dates but none of my trips were longer than a couple of weeks anyway. She did ask for my SSN card "if I had it" which I did actually bring along for some reason. She also wanted my green card obviously and my drivers license.

Congrats!

I've read that proof of state residence is required and most people take their driver's license. My wife doesn't have one. i understand another Id form can be received from the local DMV; are there other proofs of state residence (e.g., local bank document with home address)?

okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

I think she should have some sort of ID. She can go to the DMV and get an ID card - it doesn't have to be a drivers license and it is not difficult to obtain. You just need the same documents that you would use for the drivers license.

Hey All,

I did get my interview scheduled for March 5th. Basically a Monday after i did my fingerprints, (i did them on Friday, January 27th and got scheduled on Monday, Jan 30th). Seems like thats all they've been waiting for

So for those who are waiting, just be patient, situations differ and so are the time frame from state to state.

Honest advice, dont chase the mail man and check your case may times, it will come when you least expect it....

10/06/2011: Documents sent to Dallas

10/17/2011: Received NOA (dated: 10/14/2011)

11/01/2011: Status change: Testing and Interviewing

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

01/06/2012: Status Change!!!: Initial Testing and Interviewing

I received the following email last night: Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. :dance:

Hi,

Sorry you're still waiting. What don't you give them a call? Is it Tampa FL your local office? Because looking at the list it seems like some others from that office already got their interviews scheduled. give them a call to find out what's going on. Good luck.

I actually did and I spoke to the supervisor, he said, it is still under review and I should wait and I also asked if this is normal and he said it is still under the "normal processing time" and I should just wait. :wacko::blink:

Had my interview today all went well.....There was a small problem that kept being brought up that i was once married to an american girl and why did the marriage end 4 years ago, but once i explained all was ok. The lady who took the interview was very abrupt and not very friendly but i guess she was just doing her job,the interview took about 15 mins,she went through my application then asked 6 questions and it was over,she said congratulations and take a seat outside,i had to wait nearly an hour after the interview to receive a letter for the oath ceremony which is taking place this friday in Orlando .

Good luck to the rest of you on your interviews and don't worry its not as bad as you think just a little over powering...

1 How many amendments does the constitution have?

2 What did the declaration of indepedence do?

3 Name one branch or part of the goverment

4 We select a U.S senator for how many years ?

5 How many U,S senators are there

6 If both the president and the vice president can no longer serve,who becomes president ?

However, a minor thing. You updated an older statistics. Am bringing the latest one here. Also, red font is to be used only after oath is completed and you 'officially' become a US Citizen.
