Thanks everyone for well wishes. My wife's interview is tomorrow and I am going with her ( as I miss USCIS office too much ) I won't take cell-phones or any keys in as I know they are always problematic. ( no belt either :D )

We have gotten all the docs ready but I thought there was a list around, has anyone seen it?

Anyways, wish her luck, and I think she will be very OK as our case is very straight forward. I hope I can walk in with her.

Oh, that was a breeze. Appointment at 7:45 and we were there 15 min earlier of course.

Room was sort of empty ( I remember when I did mine, it was crazy down there )

She was called and they didn't let me go with her and she came back after 5 min.

Officer checked all the docs real quick and asked her the questions, she studied the videos and stuff available on USCIS.gov website and that was the questions for reading and writing.

She got the letter of congratulation and she was recommended for approval and all that stuff.

Oh, that was a breeze. Appointment at 7:45 and we were there 15 min earlier of course.

Room was sort of empty ( I remember when I did mine, it was crazy down there )

She was called and they didn't let me go with her and she came back after 5 min.

Officer checked all the docs real quick and asked her the questions, she studied the videos and stuff available on USCIS.gov website and that was the questions for reading and writing.

Congratulations man, finally right!!! Great news

Received text alert and email just now! Says, "Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days from January 18, 2012."

10/06/2011: Documents sent to Dallas

10/17/2011: Received NOA (dated: 10/14/2011)

11/01/2011: Status change: Testing and Interviewing

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

01/06/2012: Status Change!!!: Initial Testing and Interviewing

Thanks all! Yes, finally got the news I was waiting for. Hopefully the letter should arrive soon. Will update my interview date then.

........ We have made several trips out of the country since filing. Should she bring an updated N-400 or simply an updated list of trips? What have others brought with them?

tdegrenier - You don't need an updated N400. Please carry your passports which has the travel dates stamped at entry/exit points. All the best and good luck to your wife at the interview! Will wait for your update.

02/23/12: Interview: approved. Oath: completed

Phew, what a journey! I am a US Citizen.
