okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

I just received this email:

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview

Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You

will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You

should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice

within 14 days from January 4, 2012, please call customer service at

1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of

Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Will let you know when I get the letter when my interview is. So excited :))))))

What * yellow letter * everybody talking about ? I received letter in small white envelope format 10 looks like , where it was date and time . place and what to bring on interview.

Some people receive the yellow letter while some don't and get plain white ones with interview date and time like you did. I have no clue and have not been able to understand why it is so. Perhaps others on this thread can explain.

Since your interview is already scheduled, don't worry about it. You are fine!

Congratulations!! We are both from same DO, yet I haven't received any update other than the YL. I did sign up for email and text update. Hoping to receive some news soon. Until then I should learn to relax....:whistle:

Interview done!!!!! In and out in 15 min. The Officer was very, very nice. She gave me the Oath letter. I could go at the beginning of Feb but it was too far from us(2.5 hours), so I decided to go on March 22-nd because the location is 45 min away from us.
