Congratz guys, things are moving along nicely!

Do I need to prove my residency to my state with an ID? Because that's not really an option for military - most of us are residents of our homestates, not the current ones we live in. That's why I have a CA license, not a WY license. But I can easily produce utility bills or mortgage bills to our house. Hm overall I think I'm good, I didn't even send a copy of our DLs, but mortgage, car insurance and such. I'll just bring all that stuff and I believe that will be fine. I happily show the myriad of bills billed to the both of us at our house in WY :D

okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

i hear ya on that one.i cant even keep up with all the places we bin.next year we will ad TX to our list. :devil:

11/14/11.....N400 delivered to NE

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

I have had no updates since completing my FP. Online status shows no change... Sigh.

NotBonJovi , do you have any news or updates since that time ? i dont' have any ... still silence , still on the initial review . Just wondering , is it time to start to worry or to wait one more month ?

Thank you Mari&Ryan!!I actually received the letter yesterday 12/19 and my interview is scheduled for 01/26. Woohoo :dance::dance::dance:

Woohoo I just got the text message/email that I'm scheduled for an interview!!! What a nice Christmas present, I can't wait for the letter because a) then I know when it will be and b) once I get it I can book our flights to see my family in May!! :)

10/12/11: Sent N-400 to Dallas lockbox via USPS certified mail

10/18/11: Delivery confirmed

10/21/11: Check cashed

10/25/11: Got NOA by mail. Priority date 10/18

10/28/11: FP notice received by mail

11/18/11: FP done per schedule

01/03/12: Yellow letter received (dated 12/12/11)

01/06/12: Status changed to Testing and Interview (inline for scheduling)

01/18/12: Status changed to Interview Scheduled

01/21/12: IL Received

02/23/12: Interview: approved. Oath: completed

Phew, what a journey! I am a US Citizen.

so what happens after FP are done?do the results go back to NE(in my case) or fairfax?why for some i see that the online status changes jsut few days after Fp,but some are still waiting after a month?

i am a really detailed person and just trying to figure out what happens next after i walk out of the FP room

I must tell you one thing though. I am also very detailed but realized one thing, there is no consistency when it comes to this process, it varies from case to case. Some people get in line for an interview after 2 weeks, others wait longer. Ive been waiting for a month and a half and still in line to be scheduled.

I suggest you register on line to follow your case, visually it would be easier to see what is going on.
