stinke.socke it was 13 days for me between biometrics and interview letter and another 3 weeks till the interview.that was this year in baltimore.baltimore works really fast and the good thing is they have same day oath.so once you go to the interview, you are done. good luck

okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

i am moving to Baltimore. :lol:

so i am tryhing to figure somthing out here(i am nov filer).how long and what is the point of sending the N400 to NE(in my case)?What happens in NE?and how soon is my aplicatione transfered to fairfax?if seems like most of the process will be in Fairfax.

11/12/11.....N400 send to Nebraska service center

11/14/11.....N400 delivered to NE

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

I guess you are right. I did receive a yellow letter and I am Atlanta filer. But from what i hear in ATL it takes time, so i guess ill just wait. It seems like when you forget about your case, things move faster. I thought since i didnt have to do the fingerprints (or at least thats how it is for now) my interview would be scheduled quickly, but from what i see in this forum, a lot of people got placed for an interview already for the beginning of January and i am still waiting. :dance: :dance:

10/06/2011: Documents sent to Dallas

10/17/2011: Received NOA (dated: 10/14/2011)

11/01/2011: Status change: Testing and Interviewing

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

01/06/2012: Status Change!!!: Initial Testing and Interviewing

Just got the email that we've been scheduled...come on, letter!

congrats on email think we should all move to PA or Baltimore or maybe Texas seeing as Orlando is taking so long lol

Still nothing, not even a text message telling me I am in line for scheduling or something. Should I be worried?

It will come, this process used to take longer aruund last year( I heard) but this year,people have been through it in as little as three months. maybe the holidays are slowing stuff down? Staff taking time off?

I am in Fairfax County, VA and my status has been at "in line for interview scheduling" since October 24, 2011. I am not sure if it's the VA (Dallas Lockbox) or if it's "special treatment" for me because of my country of origin or just random luck :) I am thinking it shouldn't have to do with extra scrutiny because of my origin because if that was the case the status should have said something about "background check," right? I think my process is beyond the fingerprints and background check, am I right? Or do they work on the background check when the status says "in line for interview scheduling?"

797 Receipt dated 09/06/2011

No update as of 12/14/2011

Does everyone gets a yellow letter? got one today said to take my driver license to the interview.

I am not sure if everyone gets a yellow letter. I got one dated 11/14/2011 that says I should take my driver's license to the interview.

I received the yellow letter in the mail today.Is that means I will get the interview letter soon?

Don't count on that, it's been a month since I got the yellow letter and I haven't received the interview letter so far (online status says the same; "in line for interview scheduling").
