okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

I think my check was cashed around October 21 but dont remember for sure :(. My local office is Newark, NJ. Thanks for adding me.

It is almost 1 month I am in line for interview!!! Common Orlando local office!!! How long??? I hope they will not send my anything for the end of January, as I will be super busy with my husband's graduation!!

Was I supposed to get a yellow letter after the biometrics because I have not received one. Input is appreciated.

We never received a "Yellow" letter, we went straight from Biometrics to Interview Date.

yellow letter tells you what to bring to the interview......maybe field offices work in different ways to each other..one rule for one a different for another lol...

I received the yellow letter yesterday asking for my divorce decree for my previous marriage which I had included in the application already. I got this yellow letter After my interview letter which I received more than 15 days ago. Some people get a yellow letter while others never get one but only their interview letter. The order how it's send to us may be different though.

K1-K2 Visas Journey

(Day 1) 05/23/07: Packet sent to CSC

(Day 247) 01/25/08: Interview. Approved!

(Day 254) 02/01/08: Visas Received.

AOS Journey K1-K2

(Day 1) 04/20/08: Application sent.

(Day 73) 07/02/08: EAD,AP Approved!

(Day 108) 08/05/08: AOS Approved!

(Day 114) 08/11/08: 2 years GC received.

ROC Journey K1-K2

(Day 1) 05/09/10: Application sent.

Finally received Email yesterday stating "i have been scheduled for interview" almost after 40 days of placing in line for interview. I am hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that i will be interviewed in the month of January. Good luck for others who are still waiting for their interview letter. :thumbs:
