Hi October filers.

I filed NOA, October 14th and since November 1st my status has not changed. I checked on line and it states Testing and Interviewing, but there are no changes. Apparently I dont have to do the fingerprints, since i did them September 2010, but i am a bit concerned. I thought my case would move much faster coz i skipped a step, but i do not think so... :(

10/17/2011: Received NOA (dated: 10/14/2011)

11/01/2011: Status change: Testing and Interviewing

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

Just based on some earlier months, I realize that NYC is waaayyy behind. I dont really expect to see any updates for a few months. I would love to be pleasantly surprised, but oh well... I just am a little leery since i didnt get biometrics done. I hope they dont move us back to initial review and require biometrics. I will just sit and wait and hope everything goes smoothly. I wish everyone else luck, and congratulations.

This puzzles me somewhat. I had my fingerprints done for ROC March 2011, but I still got a fingerprinting notice. So it can't all be about the dates when you last had biometrics done. Either you'll have them done at a later time, or you (and people in a similar situation) were exempted for some combination of reasons.

Either way, it's hard to find much consistency in the case management of the USCIS (what else is new?) :P

I know it doesnt look bad so far at all, but Im pretty sure thats it for the next few months. I see other posters from May are just now having interviews/oaths, and some are still waiting for interview letters. Its okay though, I'll be patient. :)

Hi Everybody,

Please add me to the list. I filed October 18th in Dallas, TX, received NOA October 21st and my fingerprint letter October 27th. I completed fingerprints on November 23rd. Still waiting for update....a little nervous.
