they will call back usually within a day - they are very good about that. You don't have to leave multiple messages.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, I just left one message. It's reassuring to hear that they do call you back. I am very anxious to know the exact date for the medical.

Just a heads up there have been people who have tried to make an appointment with them who have NEVER had a return call or return email.

I was trying to make an appointment with thos people for over a month with absolutely no returned calls or contact from thos people. I gave up and called Medisys in Montreal. I got them on the first ring and booked an appointment with them for the week after my phone call.

Not much has been posted about making a medical exam appointment. I have called many times and was directed to the voicemail all the time. Anyone had similar experience?

It depends on who you called and where your medical is. I called the panel physicians (Dr Seiden's crowd) in Montreal the day I got my letter stating when my interview was. Almost FOUR WEEKS later and 3 or 4 messages left, I still hadn't heard from them. My wife emailed Medisys in Montreal just before the close of business one day and the first thing the next day they CALLED her back. She let me know and I made the appointment with them for my medical. Then about 3 days before I left, the other crowd called me. I didn't answer. They left a message but I didn't call them back. They couldn't bother calling me back in a timely manner, so I extended them the same courtesy. And from what I could find out, I saved myself $40-$50 by having my medical done at Medisys versus the Panel Physicians and I had the results just as quickly.

I know each case is different, but that was my experience. I personally recommend using Medisys if you're going to Montreal for your medical.

Dr. Seiden's in Toronto called me back very quickly (ten minutes after I left a message.) After I left a voicemail I got impatient and e-mailed them and they replied to that e-mail almost instantly, too.

I don't know what their cancellation policy is but I imagine that if you schedule a medical at one place and then the place you originally wanted to go to calls you back, it probably wouldn't be a big deal to cancel the other medical as long as you give them a few days notice.

Thank you very much for your reply. I live in GTA area so it is more convennient that I do the medical in Toronto vs Montreal. I am now really concerned that how soon I can break through their "no answer" wall and book an appoitment. I need to have a flu shot and some other vaccine done within a certain time frame before the exam. I am also still working full time. So I really wish i could speak to someone on the phone and have a firm date for the medical. I am so looking forward to the day when all these are behind me...

I received a phone call back within a day or so. Just make sure you leave a very slow, clear message. If you speak too quickly and they can't catch your number, well they might not call back.

This happens to me a lot when people leave me voicemails at work.
