Hi I applied mine in July 2011 too......so far I have received my EAD & AP. Nothing on GC yet. Was wondering as to how much more longer it might take.

hi congrats on your EAD/AP...my EAD just went to Card/Document Production...and i haven't gotten any new up dates on my 485 yet hopefully this month we start seeing i-485 approvals.

Why doesn't anyone have their timelines updated: I think it would be helpful for people to know.

We sent AOS for Paula on July 19 and it was transfered to CSC on September 6. She has received her EAD/AP card, but there is no word on her GC. I think that the transfer increases the waiting time. Someone here (maybe INKY) said that USCIS has to do the same background check it did for her visa and that adds more (wasted) time.

Sometimes I wonder if it is not just a random process. If your folder lands on the right desk you will be approved right away. If it lands on the wrong desk... I am particularly frustrated by the lack of information from USCIS. There is no reason USCIS can not tell us where in the process our application is except that they choose not to do so. We can all just get very good at waiting.

My wife and son applied for AOS in July as well. My wife and son have now had their combined EAD/AP cards for about a month, but we have not received any further word regarding AOS ... we have not even received an interview letter yet. We called the USCIS Help Line, which resulted in us obtaining the same information we had already gotten from the website (no surprise there). If it stretches into November without word, I will probably make an INFOPASS appointment to figure out what is going on (or more to the point, what is NOT going on).

Take care and God bless!

Joe

Ah! So nice to hear some of the approvals. Congrats to all who have made it. I havent heard anything yet. May be it depends on the Service center and the local office availability for an interview. Mine is being processed at NBC and probably my local office is NYC (Surprisingly when i check priority dates in the NYC office it shows Dec 30,2010.....I hope it has nothing to do with the delay :(((

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update: we finally received our Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview letters today, October 15, 2011 (the letters were dated the 12th). The interview is scheduled for November 16, 2011 at the Washington Field Office (actually Fairfax, Virginia) ... our timeline has been appropriately update. ;D

Have a great day!

Joe & Ann

Can we see any approvals as October started. Do we have to wait for 2 weeks to see any approvals?

Please, be patient! Immigration takes time!
