Advice - visa for china

I want to meet my wife in China for a vacation. I have my visa, and now she is applying for hers (in the PI).

I'm thinking that saying she's meeting her American husband is a good thing this time, because it means she is less likely to stay in China. Is this right?

She has about 50,000+php in her account to show.

She has reservations on two properties, but no deed yet.

We will have a hotel reservation, and she has a round trip ticket.

Any advice to avoid being denied?
