I email the US Embassy in Bogota yesterday asking this question. Has anyone else heard if this is true or not?

Subject: Re: Fiance Visa Document Questions

Ok one more question that is not specified clearly in the paper work. Do I the United States Citizen need to obtain my imigration records as well from the DAS?

Thanks,

John

Mr. Lindsay,

You do not need these documents. We are updating our handout and the DAS reports will no longer be included in the list of required documents – for you nor for your beneficiary.

I had my interview last July and did not ask for my fiance's DAS records (petitioner), but they asked for mine. They were in the process of updating the list of requirements, so that might have changed already. Good luck!

Carlos & Andrea so happy together
