Hello VJ'rs

Just wanted to let you all know that Maria's AOS was approved today after nearly a year for her Name Background Check thru the FBI. We've been getting help from our Senator's office and it looks like it was worth it. When I got home from work tonight my email was loaded with message notifications from the INS stating that the case has been approved and that their mailing out a card asap. Her boy who is 10 has his own case but we've yet to see his approval. The INS officer who interviewed us last June told us that his would be approved too when Maria's was because he was her child. Well now we can relax for alittle bit. The wait is over for now.. Its been a long journey with ups and downs and I'm thankful for this site for all the help. If your still waiting for the background check hang in there it will come.... we've waited a looonnnggggg time.... Take care :dance::dance:

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)

Jan 10 : Received NOA 1 from VSC

Jan 27 : Received approval e-mail

Feb 5 : Received NVC letter

Feb 9 : Received NOA letter

Mar 7 : Received packet for visa interview

Apr 25 : Medical exam

Apr 26 : Screened documents and interview approved

May 13 : Picked up visa

Sep 11 : Went to the US

Oct .... : Got SSN in maiden name

Nov 13 : Wedding Day!

AOS in 2005 till 2006 :

Dec 12 : Sent AOS + EAD

Dec 22 : Received NOA1 letter

Dec 28 : Got touched

Feb .... : Received SSN in married name

Feb 18 : Received Bio letter of AOS + EAD

Feb 23 : Appointment of biometrics of AOS + EAD

The rest is a waiting game :)

Feb 25 : Got touched AOS + EAD

Mar 1 : Received an e-mail stating EAD card will be sent

Mar 2 : Received an e-mail stating an approval letter is already sent

Mar 4 : Received EAD card in the mail

May 24 : AOS Interview

July 14 : Touched (said that the decision took 120 days)

July 19 : InfoPass Appointment & Passport got stamped for GC. What a surprise!

July 20 : Got a welcome letter from USCIS and that GC card would be mailed soon. What a surprise!

July 25 : Got a GC in the mailbox. Wow...what a real relief! My status is now clear:)

Deal with USCIS again in April 2008
