Herman Cain has moved into a tie with Mitt Romney atop the field of Republican presidential candidates, according to a new CBS News poll, while Rick Perry has fallen 11 percentage points in just two weeks.

And a new ABC poll released today shows Cain and Perry tied at 16% (representing a 13 point drop for Perry and 12 point gain for Cain)....with Romney in first at 25%.

I could see a Romney/Cain ticket. I'd be surprised, but not that surprised if Cain won the whole thing (although polls show Obama would crush him in a general).
