My wife got her green card about a year ago. she was told to file something before a year.

i cant remember what exactly it is. any idea what it is

Assuming she got a 2 year conditional green card. 90 days prior to the expiration she will have to file for ROC the I-751 form.

Go view the Removal of Conditions guides and forums.

You should have been collecting evidence spanning the 2 years of your marriage to file for the ROC process.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

maybe her green card is for 1 year.? I could of swore the lady told us 1 year.

ill check her card for a date tonight. I hope its two years. were not in any hurry to pay that fee.

Look at the issue date, then look at the expiration date. If it is a 2 year green card, you need to file for removal of conditions between the 90day prior to expiration and the expiration date; however, they insisted that we dont wait that long. So as soon as you are in the 90 day window to the expiration date, file right away.

Wait a minute, I just looiked at your profile. Hopefully it is not up to date. Your profile doesn't show you have filed for AOS yet. Is that correct? Since you are saying that your wife has a green card, I have to assume that you did file for AOS and got approve (since that is the only way a K-1 holder can get a green card. If that is the case, then your wife's green card is good for 2 years fromthe date of issue. You must file for Removal of conditions when you get in the 90 day window from expiration date of the green card.
