Hi everyone. I called USCIS today as I noticed my husband name of NOA1 shows up only with his first and last name. In Dominican Republic a person's full name is used (first, middle, last name, and maiden last name). I went ahead and spoke to a representative that fixed the information for me and gave me a confirmation #. I was wondering how does this change affect the process of my approval...I am hoping that since they have to go into the file to fix the info they might as well finish thru to the approval to get it out of their way (or atleast I hope thats what they are thinking...lol). Anyone know the effects of having something fixed on their NOA1?

I just did the same thing...the notice ommitted his middle name. I am not sure if that was intentional or not. The operator just said they would send a notice to the service center that is handling the case. I doubt that will speed things up though...

I don't know because I was looking at IGOR'S LIST and apparently for those that had to fix something (had a rfe) once they sent in the info, they got there approval shortly after. I am trying to think positive and hoping that is the way it will happen for us!

do not worry! they did the same with me, here in Mexico also uses the full name, for example my daughter has 2 names and 2 last names and only put ''Mia Lizarraga'', only 1 name and 1 last name, but do not forget that the United States uses only one name and a last name, which is why I do not care,

The green cards will come with the full name. DO NOT WORRY!

My son also has two names. In the NOA-1 our family name and his 2 names were all reflected in the I-797c. So I think it would be best to call USCIS for some correction at this early.

Contrary to what you may think, I hope this doesn't SLOW down the process because they have to go in and fix something. Great! i haven't received NOA1 yet, but my husband has 2 first names, 2 last names as well. I hope they can get it right. I think you did the right thing by calling them to fix it though, better safe than sorry!

My husband has 2 first and 2 last names also and on some documents I noticed they only had one first and one last name listed, in other documents all names were listed....but when I checked they had his entire name in the system. I figured it was a "space" thing....like 4 names on one small area....something needs to get cut down when printing.....but I never had any issues. I don't think this will slow anything down, especially if the documents and proof you submitted initially are correct. It may have just been human error when they input the information into the system.
