just found this thread on the VJ forums! i'm happy to keep up with all the other october filers (NOA1 on Oct. 21 for me!). Can't wait to start reading about some of us getting approved!

Awww look at all you newbies... still so happy, excited and dreaming about it all. dont worry it will soon wear off and you will be as miserable as evreyone else on here :lol:

That is if we let it. I agree that this process is very hard to go through, but if you let it,it will destroy you. We all have to remember that the reason we are going through this if for LOVE. So we can be soon reunited with the ones we love and start out our lives together. We have all fell in love with a person from a different country and I guess this is the price we have to pay for it. This experience will only make us stronger as couples. You break down and feel miserable only when you take your eyes of your goal. This journey is a great way to teach us how to manage our emotions.

I would rather go through hell for few months, than lose the love of my life because I am not strong.

March 22, 2010 - Introduced online through a mutual friend

July 9, 2010 - I flew out to Phoenix to see Marques, initially for 1 month, changed to just short of 90 days

December 16, 2010 - I flew out to Marques for another 3 months. Christmas in Vegas!

December 31, 2010 - Marques proposed... I said yes! :)

March 10, 2011 - We flew back to London together, Marques met all my family and friends. He stayed for 2 weeks

June 23, 2011 - I flew out to see Marques again

September 19, 2011- I flew back to England alone :

December 30, 2011 - Marques will be here with me!!!

January 9, 2012 - Marques flew back to AZ :(

October 23, 2011 - USPS delivery confirmation at Dallas Lockbox

October 26, 2011 - NOA1 email received - Check cashed

October 28, 2011 - Touched

October 31, 2011 - NOA1 Hard copy

March 8, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy

March 12, 2012 - NVC Received, case number issued - NVC spelled my name incorrectly!

March 21, 2012 - Embassy received our case

March 24, 2012 - Packet 3 letter arrived - Called and emailed Embassy to get my name spelled correctly.

March 28, 2012 - Medical

April 11, 2012 - Forms sent to Embassy

May 3, 2012 - Appointment letter received

May 9, 2012 - Embassy interview - APPROVED!

May 15, 2012 - Visa received

June 8, 2012 - POE Charlotte NC - Connection to Phoenix AZ

At the one month point, nov went fast!

im almost at the 4 month point and i can honestly say that.... wait for it.... im actually gonna say something that will make 'ya'll' (you notice my americanism there?? im practising for when i get there so i fit in) feel positive about how long it takes... this last 3 month, 1 week, 1 day, 9 hours, and 27 seconds has flown by and each week that goes by seems to go faster than the last :yes:
