Hi guys i need help:(

3rd week of March I called USCIS and told me to wait for our "Service Request" before April 7. April 5, we received their mail stating that we have to wait at least 60 days for their reply to our RFE. Earlier I called them, and told us to wait 90 days! since we had our service request last mar.30. I don't get it. The moment we call USCIS.. they consider it a service request and move our case longer?... this is driving me insane. It's taking too long.

Im so sorry you are going through this tough RFE process :( I am sure that it will not take 90 days but USCIS likes to give itself lots of extra time to get things done. Hang in there!

After the NOA2 the entire process moves very quickly so there is something to look forward to.

10/25/2011 - Sent I129F to Texas

10/28/2011 - Texas received/Check Cashed

11/01/2011 - NOA1 (6 days after mailing)

03/22/2012 - NOA2 (142 days after NOA1)

04/20/2012 - Received Interview Date (June 4th)

05/22/2012 - Medisys Medical(Done!)

06/04/2012 - Interview in MTL (APPROVED!)

I'm sorry to hear that. I called the NVC today and they have received our documents and assigned us a case number. We received our NOA2 a week ago, on 4/2/12. I hope your materials arrive soon!

Thank you, this whole process is becoming so frustrating!

Could any body let me know what fees are to be paid next up? I understand there is a fee to submit packet 3, then a fee for the visa.

This end a fee for a police certificate and medical examination.

Then once over, $1000 for adjustment of status. Have I missed any off?

I dont think there is a fee to submit packet 3. Only a fee for the visa which is currently $350 but if you book your interview on or after April 13th the fee will reduce to $240

I got my police certificate for $40 and I think the medical will be $215 (in Canada). But in UK the medical fee is £227.

AOS is about $1070.

Steffbry , I feel your pain about the waiting! It can be so frustrating, I hope they get to your case sooner rather than later.

TamsynE just keep calling, NVC Process takes very little time, as soon as the receive it , you will be on the fast track, just try to hang in there.

What I think about to keep me going is that when we are happily married with our fiance(e)the USCIS and all the others who held us up, will still be on the sidelines watching us live happily ever after. lol.

The embassy emailed me confirming that they received our packet 3 and will send our appointment letter soon. They said a couple weeks but I hope that is just the "robot" time they tell everybody, and we get it very soon!

That is because all of us goes through similar if not the same experiences with this immigration process. We have to stick together and comfort each other.

You've been great!

BUT again now 15 week days after NOA2 and it is still not at NVC. I'm so ready to pull my hair out!

I'd really really like to fly June 19th.

Is there anything that I can do in preparation for when this does come through?

Unfortunately you cant do anything to make it get to the NVC faster.Someone on this site waited 17 days for their petition to get to the NVC, so I guess USCIS sometimes takes a while to mail it, they should get it sometime this week. You can start to prepare stuff for your interview though. Start getting your financial stuff ready, if your consulate requires a police certificate you can work on that. You can also fill out the DS230 (Packet 3) and have it ready to submit when your case gets to the consulate.
