each adjudicator processes applications in the order that they receive them. the problem is that some work fast and some work slow... some go on vacation and some get sick. while it is frustrating to see someone who filed after you get approved first... it does mean that your file stays with one person rather than getting passed around the office and things going missing

I'm not sure, I just assumed it was the Texas Service Centre since he lives in Texas.. Although all 3 places (Texas, Vermont and Cali) all have same processing times. I'll ask my hubby tomorrow and see what it says.

living in texas means that cali is the centre most likely to process your petition. texas service centre doesnt do K-1

K-1 is the fiance visa... it even says on your profile that is what you applied for

it is horrible... i was totally fine with the wait until people started getting approved before me. im just glad i got approved when i did because i was starting to get very frustrated for the first time in the whole process... and now im waiting for NVC haha

yeah... for some reason all the service centres seem to list all the visa types even though they might not actually process them all. it will say on your NOA1 where your case was transferred to but i think it will be California

Hi, did you not get any text and email before hard copy of NOA2??

I did, but I felt that is was a fluke, maybe an error, like someone

was playing a big joke. I kept looking at the dates and knew that I

was supposed to be adjudicated about the middle of Feb. 93 days is

great, but after reading all of the posts on people who filed before

us makes me feel awful.

Yup that is what it is.... APPROVED. The NOA2 is a 797 same as the NOA1 just better wording!!

haha so does he say "throw a couple of shrimp on the barbie mate"?? lol. i like Aussies... they have a good sense of humour and there is a big rivalry with England when it comes to... well pretty much anything lol. you might be ok with the birth certificate because everything they require will be on the front so they might just assume the back was blank and let it pass. i know i was nervous because everyone says to copy every page of your passport and not just the biometric page and the page with the entry stamp on, but we was fine even though we only copied the biometric and stamp pages. we only got touched 2 days after our NOA1 date and that was it until approval.

OMG thank you that makes me feel a bit better...I talked to him about it and I told him it might cause a delay but he said we will get through whatever happens, still I really hope it'll be fine!!

lol He never says put some shrimp on the barbie XD He does say mate and I'm not feeling so crash hot etc he also HATES the outback steakhouse commercials here because one of the lines is 'You'll be happier than a Koala up a gum tree!' Yeah he especially gets riled about the Ashes XD I'm still trying to figure out how the hell one plays cricket!!!
