February 8,2016 - Credit card charged

February 9, 2016 - NOA1

March 1, 2016 - Biometrics Appt

March 29, 2016 - In Line for interview

April 1, 2016 - Interview Scheduled

April 4, 2016 - Interview letter received in the mail

May 10, 2016 - Interview Day! (Approved)

June 8, 2016 - Oath Ceremony

CSC is killing me softly, why are they so slow :crying: They are still more than two months away from our petition!!!

Me too. :( The estimated time for our NOA2 to arrive has been pushed back to March. :(

July 29, 2010 - Met online as penpals

September 15, 2010 - Began relationship

August 25th, 2011 - Met in person

September 20, 2011 - I-129F sent

September 26, 2011 - NOA1

February 13, 2012 - NOA2

June 18, 2012 - Interview - Approved!

ok... someone with a NOA1 from Oct 21st was approved!

we are next, please Vermont!!!!!!!

sorry guys, but I still think it's bs* that they don't review petitions in the order they're received.

10/12/2011 - NOA1 email and text message + check cashed. (NOA1 hardcopy date is Oct 11)
12/20/2011 - She went to the US with a tourist visa to spend 2 weeks with him
01/27/2012 - NOA2 (hard copy came in the mail on Feb 1 + text message, email and website update)
02/13/2012 - SENT EMAIL TO RIO DE JANEIRO CONSULATE TO GET INTERVIEW DATE
04/03/2012 - INTERVIEW IN RIO DE JANEIRO - APPROVED
04/10/2012 - Passport with visa + sealed envelope received [/color]
08/27/2012 - POE Atlanta
09/01/2012 - Married!

09/27/2012 - AOS package received in Chicago

How do you know if you have an NOA2? I received this notice from USCIS but am not sure if it means that the next step is NVC.

Post Decision Activity

On January 18, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations

Is this NOA2?

Has anyone heard anything from the Dallas center?

The lockbox facility in Dallas (or surrounding area) is a petition intake facility, nothing more. Your NOA1 will indicate which service center (California or Vermont) your petition was sent to for adjudication.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Does anyone know how long approximately it takes between getting you NOA2 and your interview? Or depends on the place you go? I've seen some people having to wait 3 months.. We set a wedding date of May 12, since family wante to fly down from Canada to Texas. Hope everything is done by then!

Yup that is what it is.... APPROVED. The NOA2 is a 797 same as the NOA1 just better wording!! :thumbs:

Filed at the end of Sept and still no noa 2. I think they should process in the order received.

sept 2010-met online

sept 08 2011-engagement day

sept 30 2011-filed k-1

oct 03 2011-received NOA1

jan 24 2012-NOA2 approved
