yay!! and I'm in NY with my love! came with a tourist visa, no problems at POE (Dallas)

10/06/2011 - I-129F received at USCIS/Dallas and routed to Vermont
10/12/2011 - NOA1 email and text message + check cashed. (NOA1 hardcopy date is Oct 11)
12/20/2011 - She went to the US with a tourist visa to spend 2 weeks with him
01/27/2012 - NOA2 (hard copy came in the mail on Feb 1 + text message, email and website update)
02/13/2012 - SENT EMAIL TO RIO DE JANEIRO CONSULATE TO GET INTERVIEW DATE
04/03/2012 - INTERVIEW IN RIO DE JANEIRO - APPROVED
04/10/2012 - Passport with visa + sealed envelope received [/color]
08/27/2012 - POE Atlanta
09/01/2012 - Married!

09/25/2012 - AOS + EAD + AP sent
09/27/2012 - AOS package received in Chicago
10/02/2012 - Text messages + email received with 3 case numbers showing NOA for EAD + AP Sep 28/ NOA I-485 Oct 1

12/07/2012 - EAD + Travel Permit combo card

07/25/2013 - GC in production

My fiancee and I are quite sad and lamenting the fact that we are not together this holiday season. It all started with Thanksgiving, is continuing now at Christmas, will be the same at New Years, then the Spring Festival. :crying: We have talked about our bright future consolation..... hopefully next year at this time we will be able to enjoy the very same holidays together. Yeah, it not the best situation now, but we have hope in our future plans. There is also some comfort knowing that are are like-minded folks, in similar situations, that are doing the same waiting game. It will all be worth it! :dancing:

I am going to visit her in February. (L) We will head down south, wherever the locale is , is only of minor importance in comparison that we will be in the same time zone, in the same room...together, if only for another brief time. Of course, another trip, with couple photos, boarding passes, receipts, et cetera.... we will dutifully collect to further bolster our petition statement that we are in a real, committed, and loving relationship. This will be trip numero dos.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale... to all so inclined...Happy Holidays to all!!!!

It is our sincerest wish that next year will find all of us, currently enduring this time warp known as our country's immigration process, in a better place enjoying the fruits of our mutual labors of love.... :luv:
