I have a quick question, i'm reading all these forums and people are saying they have already booked their medical and everything... I'm getting kind of nervous that we are missing something, we got our NOA 1 letter on September 26 and with that we received our case # that starts with EAC. Since then, i've been checking our case status on USCIS, but it always says it can't find it.. My fiance called and asked and they said they were having a problem, it should be fixed by the end of the month (October). But the lady on the phone indicated that everything seemed fine. Are you supposed to wait until you get your NOA 2 to book your medical? Will NOA2 indicate all we need for our medical and interview and then that's it? All these people in the other forum are really confusing me and I don't want to be stressing for nothing if I don't have to. On another note, happy 2 months to ya'll (see my Southern accent? :) ) My hubby is coming up for Christmas, 8 more days until he's here.. I can't wait until all this junk of a mess is over with and we can finally be together.

I'll tell you what I am going to do, ok? I called one of the docors indicated by the consulate in Brazil, got a list of exams and vaccines I need to take that can be done with other doctors and I'll do everything until February. But the appointment with the consulate doctor I'll just make after I get my NOA2.

You guys are making me so jealous, because of the expense and the fact we both work at jobs that we are relatively new at, we can't visit each other for the holidays :( I had him last christmas also so it would be unfair of me to take him away from his family again this year since he is moving here anyway x.x But I miss him...The next time I can possibly see him will be for his interview, that's when I REALLY want to be there for him because we might be able to to fly back together :) But I'll totes miss him this Christmas and New Years...why don't they invent teleporters :crying:

Though its good to see some people are able to spend the holidays with theirs :)

Oh another one, I know there is a Medical office here for immigration, since my mom and brother moved to USA a few years ago and that's where they went, but there is nothing stated on the USCIS website... Gosh i'm such a newbie! :)

Your fiancé does not have to be at the interview with you.

you'll probably find the list of offices on the American consulate in Canada website.
