Is your adjustment of status based on marriage to a US citizen? Did you marry before or after the removal proceedings began?

Adjustment of status while in removal proceedings is always difficult and time consuming. If you're trying to adjust status based on a marriage that occurred after the removal proceedings began then it becomes extraordinarily tough - they will presume that the marriage is a sham, and you'll need overwhelming evidence to counter this presumption.

Hang tough, be patient, and get your evidence in order. I suspect you'll have a difficult interview. If you don't already have a good attorney then you should probably hire one.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Hi JimVaPhuong

thanks for your response i am looking forward to figuring out solutions for my problems.

I get married while in removal proceedings and I had the I130 interview it wasnt bad. but it doesnt mean that this one is ganna be the same. I believe that I have a good lawyer and I am well-prepared for them and my wife is pregnant.but my issue is that I already made the biometric fingerprint for I485/I765 forms and they took a picture too on june/06/2011.and since then I didnt even get my EAD to work or live as others. I did an infopass on sep.07.2011 but nothing happened.and now i dont know what to do?

can you explain to my other ways that I didnt use? thanks in advanced.
