Best way to send ds 230?

i know as a petitioner i need to send the AOS.. I would like to ask which is the fastest way to send ds 230.. Do i need to ask my spouse to send it over to me while waiting for nvc number or will i wait for nvc to send the packet to him?

I had my wife send Part 1 signed and fill out part 2 here. It took about 2 weeks to get here from Cebu.

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : Manilla, Philipines

Met Online : 2006 December

Went to PI : 2008-04-23

Engaged : 2008-04-26

Married : 2009-11-13

IR-1/CR-1 Timeline

I-130 Sent : 2011-05-03

CSC Received Packet : 2011-05-05

NOA1 Received Hard Copy : 2011-05-13

NOA2 TEXT/EMAIL Received :2011-08-02

NOA2 Received Hard Copy: 2011-08-06

Interview Date: 2012-03-09

Visa Issued: 2012-03-30

It would be better if you have your spouse prepare all necessary documentation and paper works (while still waiting for NVC to give you your MNL case number) and forward them all to you (as I suppose, she'll choose you as her the agent per DS3032) since you'll be the one now submitting the Immigrant Visa Application packet to NVC. It'll save you lots of time. So when the time comes that you can now submit the IV packet, it'll be ready and all you have to do is print the barcoded cover sheet, put it on top and send it to NVC. :)

04/13/2011 : I-130 received/Priority date

07/13/2011 : RFE for G325A (beneficiary)

07/28/2011 : I-130 approved :)

Your I-130 was approved in 106 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

08/08/2011 : NVC received case from USCIS

09/08/2011 : NVC assigned case number

09/09/2011 : Paid AOS bill

09/14/2011 : Paid IV bill

09/22/2011 : Submitted AOS and IV packets via USPS Priority Mail

09/26/2011 : NVC received AOS and IV packets

10/03/2011 : checklist cover letter #4 - AOS line 25 being questioned

10/11/2011 : Response to RFE sent via USPS Priority Mail

10/11/2011 : checklist cover letter #5 - IV application OK! :) -NVC still waiting for RFE response

10/13/2011 : NVC received RFE reponse and now, we WAIT! :D

10/24/2011 : CASE COMPLETED! Thank you LORD! :D

11/02/2011 : Interview date confirmed via operator! <3

11/03/2011 : Interview appointment email received!

Get a few filled in and blank DS-230swith just part I singed by your spouse mailed to you - trust ne they will come handy. Also get her/his Original Date of Birth certificate and copies of biographic pages of her/his passport. You will also need Original Marraige Certificate for submitting DS-230.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.
