; I DO TRUST MY IN-LAWS!! They are the best, and the only way to find out if you can trust someone is actually to trust someone :star:

In your case, you had a crazy hillbilly grandma-in-law :bonk:

I'm not going to tell you about what your husband should have done when that crazy woman pulled your hair and all that, but I'm glad you two got out of her house.

Hopefully you can rent this house you said, and move on from there with just the two of you!!

Good luck!

To repeat what ive heard from everybody since i got into a long distance relationship, you never really know how a person is until you live with them..It seems like you guys have not been together very long at all...I understand what your going through i grew up in a house like that all my life...When you live with someone else you become beholden to them....Its not your fault because you had no idea what you were getting into!!!..i would try to get a job asap and not have to rely on his family whatsoever...This probably wont be the last dealing you have with his family so try to stay out of there way....Make sure you have all your important legal documents with and not left at the grandmas house!!!!!!....I agree with some of the other people there is a possibility he could be like them as well so keep numbers to the police etc with you at all times...try to make some friends of your own in case you need somewhere else to stay if something happens...i really hope things get better for you!!

Hello,

It's good that your husband stood like that for you.

Sometimes they don't do it.

Try not to reveal any plan to your family-in-law- I'm lucky, I have a wonderful family-in-law, a wonderful husband also.

I totally agree with San Diego!!

though, not about for you to leave him, since you are married to him and happily in love, but you def have to keep this in mind about him not defending you.

He didn't do his task of being a husband, as of he has to protect you at all times!!!!!

I would move away with him and give him a last chance, because he is the one who should protect you and make you feel safe whenever he is around. When the next situation occurs, hopefully not, and he'll stand there as a scared kitty cat, then keep the pride to yourself and walk away from this crazy situation/family.

I am sorry you are going thru this. Keep your eyes open, research to know what you are looking for, and don't give up (on your marriage) yet.

(F)(F)(F)

Oh, the people who are slamming Sam, without thought, might remember he has an account here too, and more than likely will read all this.

Good luck to you both.

DeeDee I am sorry that you went through that. I find it a positive thing that your husband stood up for you after you told him. I think you both are very young and I am sure he did not know what to do. But, he did listen to you and that is a positive.

I remember this thread from you about your grandma throwing you out without your clothes on and you were hungry and no place to live.......http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/312186-expedite-info-help/

Your grandmother had issues with you also.

I want you to find a counselor near you or a minister. You need some counseling. There is a reason you are a victim of these things and I want you to find out why.

Please take care of yourself.
