Dos Said Something different today

Hello Everyone i would like to ask you my wife called Dos Today and a guy name Chris Said your case is currently processing to check if your husband is eligible for visa or not then my wife ask if its in final review he said I cant discuss that with you will anybody know what does that mean??? any help will be appreciated thanks we are waiting from 3 months .

I Mean we are trying to call dos to gets update from long time we heard pending ap and then dos lady said they r working on case she can see updates but she cant tell us and den today a guy chris said its in current processing to check if the beneficial eligible for visa or not....

basically over the last couple of months its always been pending ap... then a few weeks ago a woman said the next update should be congrats... then the next two times it was still pending but the embassy is working on it and even one person said it was in review at the embassy

today i called and the guy said that it was in processing and they are deciding whether or not my husband is eligible for visa

just wondering if this is near the final review... after all name checks have been completed... they wont tell us if they have finished name checks and wouldnt tell us if this was final review.. just said in processing at embassy this time... we have never heard that phrase bfore and just trying to know if we are getting close..its almost been 4 months.. just wanting a little comfort...
