From what you've posted so far I think your evidence looks good! The only other thing I'd recommend is if you both have DL's at the same address, make copies and send those. I don't know why but I get the impression USCIS likes those. But all in all it looks excellent.

Thanks trillium very good idea. I'll get both DLs copies and ready to include em in the package! :D

We sent copies of boarding passes showing that we travelled together and sat in adjoining seats, as well as airline ticket receipts in both of our names.

Unfortunately we haven't out on plane so no passes to show to USCIS

We submitted NO photos and were approved without an interview. we did subit joint tax returns. We submitted our current mortgage but not the one we had when Alla arrived. We did submit the sale and purchase papers, joint bank accounts, insurance, etc. No credit card info.

we also submitted school papers for the boys showing me as a "parent" and copies of all the permission ans school release papers I had signed plus medical information showimg me as "responsible party", copies of drivers licenses, etc. I am also listed as joint on their bank accounts.

For the RoC it is NOT necessary to attach ALL pages of the 1040 and NOT necessary to attach copies of the w-2s. You may WANT to if the w-2s show a common address. You are not trying to prove that you have sufficient income or the source of the income. There is no affidavit of support with the RoC. I attached the FRONT page only of our forms 1040 and the w-2s we had (common address) also 1098's from Alla's school, etc.

Basically official documents that show a serious committment are preferred over photos, utility bills etc (I also included no utility bills) A woman that was committing a fraud, for example, may have her picture taken with a man but will she give him the authority to make serious decisions about her children? A man may get affidavits but will he give her full access to ALL his monetary assets? THAT is what they look for. The kinds of things married people will naturally agree to, but frauds will not.

No photos and approved with no interview sounds great to me!

The mortgage or deed we going to submit is only the partial copy that shows both our names on it and the address where our home located. I think it would be suffice!?

That is what I believe - the official financial documents showing a legit and solid commitment stands stronger than any other like utility bills or photos.

Thanks a lot !

I have one more question guys! Since the lease of our apt gone missing, should I explain it in the Cover Letter ? - I would replace the copy of the lease agreement with copies of our DL's showing the same address of our apt. (?)

Thanks!

I suggest you do what I did. Go the the apt complex and either have them or their corporate offices draft a formal letter on their letterhead. They should have some record of you somewhere that you stayed there during a specific time table. So just have them write a formal letter and sign it.

My Letter states the following:

Date

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to serve as proof of residency for Person A and Person B. Person A was a resident of (Address) from Month/Year to Month/year. Person B was added to the lease in Month/Year and vacated with his wife(her husband) on month/date.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions.

Thanks,

Person

we only have 2010 ITR and no 2009. i got here march of 2009. we didn't file jointly for his 2009 since he already filed it before i got here. would that be a problem? also my husband is not working right now so the medical insurance that we were on before is no longer available. i was wondering if we can still use both cards as evidence but note that that ended when my hubby quit that job because of medical reasons (PTSD)?

so far what we have are:

1. copy of PR (front and back)

2. 2010 ITR filed jointly

3. joint bank accounts

4. co-ownership titles of 2 cars

5. his DL and my instruction permit bearing the same PO Box address

6. copy of ATT phone bill family plan (where it shows both our numbers in one account)

7. (expired) medical insurance cards showing me as member and he as subscriber -- not sure if this is acceptable

8. Storage unit rental showing both our names -- is this good? (we are living with his mom for about a year now because of financial reasons so what's in the storage are most of our stuff)

i would really appreciate a feedback. thanks all.
