Hi all,

I am about to file the petition for ROC and am collecting the evidence thus having some questions here.

1. After received the 2 yrs GC me and my husband move to our new apartment and then the next year we bought a house. We lost the apartment lease agreement when we were moving out to our new house. So now we do not have the lease agreement form the apartment. Will it be a problem? We have credit card statement and some bills that showing same address though in two year span.

2. One evidence to submit is Joint tax return. Does it include the 1040's as well ?

3. I might not submit photos of us. Will it be ok?

Thanks all for reply.

1040 and ALL pages including W2s. You might as well just order the tax transcripts from the IRS for free since that is way easier and you wont have to use every page from your tax returns just the IRS papers that are sent to you.

You need tax returns for the last 2 years and evidence spanning 2 years. Call your previous place and see if you can get a copy of the lease.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

We got the 2009&2010 Tax Transcript from IRS already but OMG just couldn't find the 2010 W2 of my husband. I thought the tax transcript from IRS would be just enough?

If its required then what should we do now? :( **panic mode on**

You don't need to send photos necessarily, we did, but you don't have to. You will need some stronger evidence than what you've posted here, though.

Thank you for your reply. Here are the documents we have collected and will be sent when all is set:

1. Copy of PR card

2. Copy of 09&10 joint tax return transcript from IRS

3. Copy of our CC showing joint account

4. Copy of Health insurance card showing wife as dependent

5. Copy of our Mortgage Contract (Deed of Trust) showing co-ownership of our house

6. Copy of our Bank Statements showing a joint saving and checking account

7. Copy of utility bills and credit card bills at the same address(es) showing our financial and social lives intermingled

8. Two affidavits by US citizen family, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

How does this look? Any input is much appreciated.

as long as the bank or cc statements cover the entire 2 year period. also and if you have it i won't hurt to add any 401k, IRA, life insurance beneficiary forms that you guys have each other on!

Barca,

we have bank and cc statement every 3 to 4 months for the 2 years period. is that suffice?

we have letter from company of the designation of life insurance to beneficiary. is that suffice?

From what you've posted so far I think your evidence looks good! The only other thing I'd recommend is if you both have DL's at the same address, make copies and send those. I don't know why but I get the impression USCIS likes those. But all in all it looks excellent.

Thanks all for reply.

We submitted NO photos and were approved without an interview. we did subit joint tax returns. We submitted our current mortgage but not the one we had when Alla arrived. We did submit the sale and purchase papers, joint bank accounts, insurance, etc. No credit card info.

we also submitted school papers for the boys showing me as a "parent" and copies of all the permission ans school release papers I had signed plus medical information showimg me as "responsible party", copies of drivers licenses, etc. I am also listed as joint on their bank accounts.

For the RoC it is NOT necessary to attach ALL pages of the 1040 and NOT necessary to attach copies of the w-2s. You may WANT to if the w-2s show a common address. You are not trying to prove that you have sufficient income or the source of the income. There is no affidavit of support with the RoC. I attached the FRONT page only of our forms 1040 and the w-2s we had (common address) also 1098's from Alla's school, etc.

Basically official documents that show a serious committment are preferred over photos, utility bills etc (I also included no utility bills) A woman that was committing a fraud, for example, may have her picture taken with a man but will she give him the authority to make serious decisions about her children? A man may get affidavits but will he give her full access to ALL his monetary assets? THAT is what they look for. The kinds of things married people will naturally agree to, but frauds will not.
