Hi all,

My fiancee is from Ecuador and the country just switched over to using the CSC Information Service, instead of the $12.00 pin. However, we've been trying to make an appointment for over a week (both online and calling) and it STILL says that there are no dates available. Has anyone else had this problem? I imagine that dates will open up, but no one can tell me anything--just to keep checking back. Has anyone had this problem? Or is there a general date when new appointments open? Thanks for any help!

The US embassy opens appointments whenever they open them.

When someone cancels or changes, they have random days that they open up batches of appointments for interviews. Sometimes they show up after a maintenance of the website (shut down cant log on then when you can it shows appointments)

Honestly you just have to wait until whenever the US embassy will open dates for appointments and post them. Sometimes for the Canada people they show up VERY early in the morning sometimes randomly in the evening when people are still at work and cant book anything. Many of them have been waiting a few months for something to become available.

i used the new service right away and there were tons of dates open thru october. thats odd that they wud suddenly have nothing. When I first checked i could even schedule 3 days out. I had issues using internet explorer to schedule, so i used firefox without issue. I know you said you called too tho. I hope it clears up quickly for you!!

Really? Dates through October? I logged in last Tuesday, the day after it opened...and a week later, it still says that there are no dates available. I guess everyone logged in the very first date and took every single spot? Good job on your part for getting in there. At least we don't have to pay a 12$ pin to hear that there are no dates available! Good luck!
