Also no F2A in Mumbai, what is this mean? there are no F2A applications from Jan 09 2009 to Feb 15 2009 from india?? If there are no applications can't they move the cut off date further for India?? Please explain

I have just check Dec 2010 Visa Bulletin. It says:

"From early 2009 through September 2010, the level of demand for numbers in the Family-sponsored preference categories was very low. As a result, the cut-off dates for most Family preference categories were advanced at a very rapid pace, in an attempt to generate demand so that the annual numerical limits could be fully utilized."

I guess there might be a rapid acceleration on cut-off dates for coming VB?

May be there is no F2A applicant from Mumbai area, thats why you dont see any F2A applicant. Since Chennai and Delhi is not upload the interview list, It could be possible other cities are scheduled in Delhi and chennai consulate. Atool is member who'se PD February 1st, got the interview date. Check out November VB post.

Thanks

APPROVED

the reason is it might help all other categories too.........bcaz if relative of permanent resident will be given status of immidiate relatives ,f2a is out of visa categories in 226000 visas ....and 88000 of f2a visas will be awarded to other categories....so all other categories may benefit from this ......
