I think it is going to be six weeks to or less. If it was a huge jump they would have started issuing out dates.

This means that the people who calls on 1st of November will have the intervew letter like as you before. Is it right? We also hope it . I guess the visa bullentine will be 22 November 2009. Do you agree with me?

yeah by 1st of november they will be updated about the who are schedule for interview for December.... otherwise its hard to know the cutoff date for that i have tried for last three years and failed to know it but i am sure about the one thing is that they treat every category fairly and its depend on the availability of visa number... so stop predicting all this thing enjoy your days... every body one day gets that magical letter and hopefully visa on their passport ........good luck

My wife tried for a tourist visa from India but she did not get it. Then she applied for a Canadian tourist visa and got it for 6 months. She tried for US tourist visa from Canada after staying 3 months there.. She was very honest about her answers and the officer granted her visa and she came to USA without any problems. Well, I can understand your situation but it was pure luck otherwise getting a US tourist visa with I-130 approved is very difficult. Even to get Canadian tourist visa is not that easy. I hope this will help you guys...

One thing I do not understand here is that one officer will grant you visa and others won't with the same situation. But there is no rule that if you have I-130 approved then you won't get US tourist visa. You just need a pure luck. I even got my student visa with I-130 approved few years ago..

Case completed at NVC

Spouse has B2 visitor visa and successfully visited USA twice.

Thanks for updating everyone on this forum. First of all, good luck to you and have a hice time for having ur spouse give an tourist visa.

It is a pure luck and there is no logic that US Consulates in abroad followes-either give tourist visas to spouses of LPR's or deny it. At the end of the day, they use a diplomatic word- every case is different and all visas given on a case by case. this is a complete nonsense.

First and last time my spouse appeared for a tourist visa, the consular officer turned all documents and said "SORRY" the moment he heard that I am a LPR.
