Hello everyone!

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile, I fulloy intended on trying to help others by answering questions from our experience, but my fiance arrived in July and it's been a crazy past few months, I feel like I just blinked and its October! Anyway, I have an question that i hope you guys can help me with, I plan on calling USCIS today, but I'm at school right now and going strait to work after class, busy busy. We just got married a couple weeks ago, and just got moved into a new apartment. Between all that and studying for class, work, some money problems in July/August, and the usual everyday problems of life, the 90 day limit for my wife and I to get her AOS application into USCIS has crept up on us rather fast!! So she arrived here July 5th, in my mind I had quikly calculated October 5th as the deadline, but just looking at her I-94 ( I think that's right, it's the entrance form stapled to her VISA/Passport) yesterday, I see that it was noted by the customs officer at the point of entry, "OCT 03, 2011". Which is actually 90 days from July 5th, not Oct 5th as I had thought. So my question is this, how strict are they with this deadline?? If we get it out tomorrow will and overnight it to USCIS will that be ok? And also, the expiration date printed on my wife's K1 visa in NOV 25 2011?? Now, I'm not a specialist in Governemt immigration law, but to me that means that my wife is authorized under her K1 visa to stay legally in the U.S. until that VISA expires, on 11/25/2011, or she files her application for AOS. I just realized, that expiration was probably the time allowed for her to USE the visa. Dammit, thats why it was noted Oct 3rd on the I-94, the date of entry. Well, so much for that theory. Anyway, I have to dash off to class, please, any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks you all! I know I can always count on the great people here!!

1, the K-1 expired the moment it was used.

2, you are only supposed to MARRY in 90 days.

3, you are to file AOS as soon as possible, it does NOT have to be in 90 days.(before I-94 expires)
