Hello All!

My name is Umair, and my fiance lives in Pakistan. Our k1 application was approved by NVC over a month ago, but my fiance hasn't received packet 3.5 from the Islamabad Embassy. I called the embassy, and they stated that we can send our documents to the embassy since we have all of the necessary documents gathered (police certificate, DS forms, etc).

My question is simple: WHERE does my fiance have to mail her documents so that she can be scheduled an interview? I dont see an address listed anywhere on the internet regarding this. I'm looking at the courier services section on Islamabad Embassy website, http://islamabad.usembassy.gov/courier_services.html, however none of the places I called seemed to have an answer for me.

I'm reaching out to all of you. My fiance lives in Pakistan, and she needs to mail her packet 3.5 to the Embassy. What address should she be mailing to? Thank you in advance for all of your support!

I hope someone else will come along to help answer your question but we always used the approved courier services on the embassy website to send documents to the embassy. The documents took 1 day to get there.

Thank you for your response,

Do we send it TO the courier listed on the Islamabad website, or does she needs to travel to the courier location and send it there. What address did you send your packet to?

Your fiance needs to take the required documents to American Express or one of the approved courier services as listed on the US Embassy Website.. They will review the required documents, and give you a tracking number. Allow 24-48 hours for delivery of the documents. After wards it will take about 5-7 weeks before you'll get a call from American Express asking you to pick up the interview letter. At such point of time you can schedule the medical exam.

Good luck the rest of the journey.

Okay, now things make much more sense now. So I'll ask my fiance to go to the nearest courier station, and use this address to send her packet 3.5 to the embassy:

ATTN: US Embassy, Islamabad, K1 Fiance Visa Application

Diplomatic Enclave, Ramna 5

Islamabad, Pakistan

Thank you to everyone for your assistance in this. These boards are a blessing!

The embassy has not mailed or emailed me packet 3. They tried 3 times already, and the letter just never got to my fiance - the address was wrong or something.

Can't we just mail the documents my fiance gathered directly to the embassy instead of waiting on the packet?
