I was just going thru our documents and realized that my wives police certificate just got expired. She had her interview oin 14July 2011 and CO requested for proof of on going relation documents. Doc were sent the very next day. DOS says our case is going thru AP.

Now embassy has not contacted us regarding the police certificate, Should we go ahead and renew it anways or wait till the EMbassy asks for it ? It had been almost 3 months since AP, i really wasnt expecting females AP to be this long. Our Visa type if CR1

you know whats weird, I just called DOS this afternoon and the lady told me yes the embassy recieved some documents via AMEX< i was like we submitted Proof of on going relationship on 15JULY2011 the day after the interview. And they just put that in their system after that LONG. She said our case is under review. That was the only thing they asked for the day of the interview Proof of on going relationship. I dont get it how can it take this long for them to review the documents. Or is this normal for Islamabad Embassy. I am pretty sure DOS told me a while back ago they Embassy already had recieved the documents.

Today they told me that documents were accepted as of 20 SEPTEMBER 2011, I was like are you sure, she said she is positive. I was like i thought u all told me about a month ago that you recieved some documents. DOS is confusing.

Seems like my wifes PCC was only good for 4 months. I am going to do the same as well, Your interview was before ours, hopefully ull hear good newz soon.

I have seen posts where after a very long AP in Islamabad people have had to submit a new police certificate, medical report and DS230 part 1&2.

Because my husband has been in AP so long I'm sure he will need a new police certificate and medical. I pray all of us get out of AP soon.

carolyn yeah im sure they will ask for updates for u but t&z is telling us that our pcc is valid for a year even tho we both see an expiration date of sept 2011 on it...n quite frankly what diff does it make if gtvapsamtik and i feel like we want a current one just in case they ask for it...it will save days if not a week or longer
