Well as awful as it is I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought, Uhhhhh why are all these cases sent in after mine being approved, it's very disheartening :( There were some in the system as little as month being before receiving their noa2, looks like for us it will be a while :/

But the wait will be worth it in the end :)

Yep, once it gets to Texas then they'll send it to one of the service centres depending on which state you're in i can't remember exactly which states go where but its basically divided into east and west i think

I'm Indiana and it went to CSC. Ours got to them at almost perfect timing and it was approved when they hit the low of about 70 days.

So is the CSC still open?!....I have read all this post about VSC going so fast. I know we won't get our for awhile, but its a little comforting to at least see SOMEONE being approved from CSC...in a timely manner. Also on our timeline in the estimated part is used to tell us end of October beginning of November but now it says "There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals." what does that even mean and should I even be worrying about that stupid timeline?...meaning are they accurate, or am I just giving my self anxiety for no reason?! Anyway, any advice is appreciated! :)

We're feeling the same stress. We got an RFE after 4 months and sent the response immediately(they received it) 2 weeks ago. Still no notice that they are reviewing the updated divorce dcree! The RFE notice said that: "It will take a minimum of 14 days to process your forms".

Good luck to us all!

I am waiting for Vermont today marks our 96 days wait. I remember back in June when we submitted our application I wished my application was sent to the California center, they were sooo much faster. It seems things have shifted drastically. I really dont understand why they can balance both. Just hire more workers! It is also frustrating to see that they are not approving the applications on a first come first served basis. It is very clear looking at the boards that this is not the case. Anyway my point is that both service centers should provide services at a constant rate, they should not keep on shifting workers.

I estimated they receive 1000 fiance/spouse applications a day.

There were about 33,000 K-1s filed last year. Nowhere near 1000/day.

My guess is CSC switched to different application types, since they were well ahead of their target time on K-1s. They'll have to switch back soon (I hope).

Since this is state specific, do you think it has to do with California's budgetary problems ?

I don't thisk it's state specific. I live in the DFW area witin 20 Miles of the Texas Service Center, my RFE came from Vermont Service Center

I assume the reason so many people are wondering about this is because back in June, July, and the beginning of August it seemed like 5 or more people from this website were getting processed every day and then suddenly they dropped to about 1 a week, which is kind of a huge drop. So the long wait isn't just a long line in front, because if they had kept their previous pace I would have been processed the end of August, I'm assuming they moved workers to other visa types, but who knows.

Also, I have to obsess about it instead of sitting back and relaxing because I work short-term jobs (usually 3-4 months) which I can't quit without screwing someone over and from which I don't get vacation days to go down to Ecuador (and from what I've read, I need to be at his interview in Ecuador). I need to apply for (and accept or decline) these jobs a few months in advance so I'd like to know what the heck is going on so I know whether or not to apply to jobs for the next season or not. If I don't and CSC continues at there current pace I'll be living off dwindling savings while I wait, but if I do accept a job for next season and then CSC picks back up to its pace from a couple months ago then by the time I finished the validity date for the visa would be over and we'd have to do a bunch of extra work to get it extended.

Anyway, I'd be perfectly happy being patient and waiting if they'd give some kind of clue as to what is going on and if the change in processing rate is temporary or permanent.

yup, it's pretty jack'd up! This is really messing with peoples' lives, CSC ain't servicing nothing. Our NOA1 date is 06/08/2011...didn't expect to be "rolling into the deep" of waiting this long!!! hahaha Dang, I miss my wifey so much!!

I know, they really are messing with people, especially when they give out NOA2 in only 1 month. That's the part that annoys/really pisses me off, I think it should be first come first serve, but unfortunately that is not the case.

But, if you look on the uscis.gov site,... had we all applied a year ago, it was going much faster, and if you keep punching the numbers in on that site and looking at their trends.... this past summer saw a DRAMATIC INCREASE in the number of app's being received.

I could be looking at it all wrong, but I think that might be the case.

Anyway, ... time flies! and, pigs don't ;-0)

Remember that this site only reflects the data that people who participate enter. So, it is not 100% accurate, nor, I believe, does it claim to be. Also, if you look at the historical tracking statistics CSC vs. VSC, sometimes one is much better than another. So in the end, I realize that this is another mindless government agency, filled with many good people, many that are just going the motions, etc. And you can be assured that is it massive and inefficient as are most if not all government agencies in the world. I was also burned up about my app not going to VSC but a while back VSC's performance was atrocious so it all luck of the draw and dependent on factors we have no control over. The whole K-3, K1, IC-1, etc process is horrible. How about that fact that if you are a sponsored worker you get a visa in a few weeks. It is all ####-backwards and there is no humanity in the process, just an agency swimming in backlog and barely able to keep up; unless there is money involved (eg. the sposored worker) then - miraculously- the process is much shorter. How surprising.

I guess people obsessed with it because they want with all of their being to be with each other. I want to be with Amy asap, and every day without her is hard and not fun at all for me. I live waiting that day when we will be together again. And I can't understand how people, who really love each other, can just relax and have fun not being together and not taking care when they'll get visa - 3, 5 or 10 months later, checking case may be once a week if they will have mood to do it. I would be wondered and probably even worried if my Amy would tell me: "Just relax, Vitya, earlier or later we will be together, so let's just have fun while we're waiting documents" o_0 [Victor from Russia]

It's now Amy writing, and I feel the same way as my Vitya! I love him so much and it's agonizing to be without him - that's what the hurry is! Each day without each other is really hard on us emotionally! We want to be together in person, and we're ready to start our life together. That's why we're obsessed! We of course are aware that we can't change it, but we still check our case often to see what's going on because we love each other so much, and we can't wait to be together! It's hard to be so far away from him! :(
