What documents are needed to have a succesful appointment in Ciudad Juarez?

Can you have more than 1 sponser? I dont have a job, Im a house wife so I will need at least one more sponcer if not more.

Anyone else been to Ciudad Juarez for the appt? Is it dangerous?

Fell in love on a missions trip in 2005, got married in 07, got pregnant and started IR1 visa process in 08, had baby number 2 in 10, and its now 2011, and we are just now finally getting to the end of this long road. (The mail from the embassy never arrives to my home, causing us trouble. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! Both kids born and raised in Mexico and American citizens by CRBA:

His Appointement is October 25th!

CDJ is not dangerous near the embassy--lots of reasonable hotels, shopping malls, restaurants of every type, movies--it is quite pleasant actually.

You will probably take far too much stuff with you since they really don't ask for much. Pictures seem to count for a lot, but you will see people with pounds and pounds of paper and pictures, all of which will be ignored--doesn't mean you shouldn't take it, but be prepared for a positive surprise when they don't ask to look at anything you have with you. The main thing to know about the CDJ consulate is that you MUST have exactly what they ask for--so NOT skip anything or try to do it "your" way--there is only one way--CDJ's way.

It is the busiest US consulate in the world, and they only have one way to do things--just follow their directions and you will be in great shape.

One co-sponsor or two is determined solely by your and their financial status.
