Just talked to an operator, they said my DS-261 has been received oct 27, that it still is being review and to wait till next monday for them to send me my IV fee, what is up with that? and even though he sent in an email requesting me to be chosen as choice of agent, she said it has nothing to do with delaying my case, I'm stressed as to why it's taking them a long time to review the choice of agent form.

Just relax. You have to realize you're not the only case at NVC. There are THOUSANDS of cases. Give NVC some time to review and accept the Choice of Agent form. Once it is, then the IV bill will be invoiced.

Yup, Saylin is correct :yes:! My DS261 approval took exactly 2 weeks (look in my signature).

Don't know why, but EP on DS261 takes longer respond back than regular processing (1-5 days).

So my husband wants to get his medical booked for a couple weeks out, my question is can you get it done with out the interview appointment letter?

I haven't had the money to send of the DS230 yet. If you can get the medical done with out it, where do the results get sent to? If it gets sent to London, in my case, how do they match it up since nothing of ours has been sent there yet?

10/29/11 - IV bill fee paid

12/01/11 - IV packet mailed

12/14/11 - Case complete!!

01/31/12 - Medical Exam

02/07/12 - Interview-Approved!!

03/14/12 - POE - Dallas, TX

I believe that for your country, you are able to go and do the medical before the interview, however I have no idea how it works. Have you checked the embassy info page?

I will let someone who knows more answer that part....
