hi everyone. We mailed our IV/AOS package to nvc and they will have it by monday so i guess i am at the last stage

When should I expect them to reviee my documents or when should I call to check ?

  • NOA1 - November 2010
  • NOA2- May 2011
  • took a break due to personal reasons and slowed down the process
  • Documents sent to NVC - 30 October 2011
  • *RFE received : missing DS 230{part 2} & a signature of AOS form - November 3,2011
  • Case Complete - Nov 16 2011
  • Interview scheduled - Nov 29,2011
  • Medical Done- DEC 31,2011 (Lahpre wilshire hospital)
  • Interview - Jan 31,2012
  • Result- approved ( thank you Allah)
  • Pasaport in hand with visa Feb 2,2012
  • POE JFK may 12 ,2012
  • Green card in hand may 31 ,2012
  • June 11 ,2012 social security # recieved

Start calling on Tuesday I'd say. But it'll probably be a week or so until they review it. You'll probably get a CC early next week, if no RFEs.

Hoping and Praying and hoping and praying and hoping and praying that all my friends here get their interview dates!!!! I will be waiting all your updates this afternoon. Good luck.

I would like to ask God for a miracle and give me one 5 months earlier than expected too but I had better save my miracle request at a later time for something I might have some control over!

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

05/05/11: sent I-130

05/16/11: NOA1

08/12/11: NOA2

08/19/11: NVC received case

09/16/11: received NVC case number

09/19/11: AOS bill and DS 3032 generated - emailed choice of agent to NVC

09/20/11: paid AOS

09/21/11: AOS shows paid and DS 3032 accepted.

09/22/11: mailed AOS (I-864ez)

09/23/11: received and paid IV bill

09/26/11: IV bill shows paid

09/27/11: mailed DS-230

09/30/11: AOS reviewed and false RFE for DS-230

10/05/11: RFE for birth certificate (which was already included in IV package)

10/06/11: DS-230 under review due to RFE... waiting...

10/21/11: Case Complete at NVC, finally!

11/02/11: Received interview date :D

11/16/11: Medical - passed!

12/13/11: Interview at the embassy in Stockholm - APPROVED!!

12/29/11: POE Boston - piece of cake :)

01/28/12: Received Green Card in the mail

helpeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i'm not able to pay IV fee(checkbox disabled) and when i called the nvc the operator said "it could be a technical problem "!!!!!

Case was complete on the 24th of November! woooo!

Im really confused though, they said they will schedule the interview on the second week of each month for the following month. So ill have to wait till 2nd week of November to find out my date. Which case they will send an email (didnt get an email or any mail regarding the case complete!!- so dont trust their emailing :unsure:).

Ive heard on here that this is not set in stone.

What should I do?

Yes, according to Saylin, the VJ expert, they schedule appointments all the time. In order for you to get this information as soon as they know it, you should call everyday until they give you an interview date.
