Yeah, most immigrants are coming from Canada, China, Philippines, UK, India, etc.

Remember, not everyone immigrating to the US is on VJ ;) Plus, VJ is mostly K1 and IR-1/CR-1 visas. There's a bunch more visas out there (like student and work visas).

But yeah, I'm sure if it's recent, then it's hard to judge if it's affecting the time frame from CC to interview. And with the low number of people here on VJ from Scandinavia, then it's hard for you to get an estimate. But I'm guessing it's the average two months from CC to interview. Only time will tell! I'm betting you get your interview date this coming week ;)

Oh yes, I hope so :)!

Luckily the non immigrant visas are still being processed in Oslo, they only consolidated the immigrant visas. So at least that wont be added to the work load in Stockholm :)

Another day, another update! Mmkay, I've gotta admit, I envy JP&BP so I did call NVC (AVR) today and check for any case updates. According to the AVR, they've already received our RFE response last october 18th (even though according to USPS tracking system it was delivered october 13th, weird!). Yay! At least the AVR can confirm that they already had our papers (unlike those inconsiderate operators). Please let it be CC this week! Psyched! (L)

Hehe  ! The rfe response probably didn't get to anyone's desk until the 18th. But at least that means a supervisor has it and will review it soon. It took a week and two days for our CC after our file got to a supervisor's desk. Following that time frame, you should have a CC by Friday

Hello everybody!! I'm a bit confused about the affidavit, I'm asking my father to be my joint sponsor, I live with them. Do we each fill the I-864 or is it the I-864a, I'm also lost on household member and joint sponsor definition, He was claiming me on his income taxes up to a year ago but now we file separately well i've always filed my taxes but now he doesn't claim me in his taxes

Hey I just filled out the i-864 and had my dad fill out the i-1864a and included proof of our relationship and that we were both living in the same household.

I would just send a copy of your taxes as well (even if you don't meet the requirement)... that's what I did and everything was accepted...NO PROBLEMO.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We updated the mailing/email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a visa.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

....

but i'm not sure if this confirmation is only for the address/email/pobox or for the choose of agent.

Why did you fill out the DS-261 if your DS-3032 was accepted?! I'm hoping that won't slow you down as now NVC will have TWO Choice of Agent forms from you :/

And remember the Choice of Agent form has NOTHING to do with the AOS bill. They're separate tracks.

That sounds like just confirmation of address change, and not acceptance of the DS-3032.
