Results are forwarded to the US Embassy in Manila right after the medical exam and is valid for 6 months. It's best if you can have your interview as soon as possible though to avoid any problems. You also have to consider the validity of your NOA2. If your target interview date is after its validity, you have to call the US Embassy to ask for an extension.

Not exactly, but perhaps I can explain.

You are "expected" to complete the exam/interview process within 4 months of your NOA2. But you will get an automatic 4-month extension when you go to USEM, and you can actually attend interview for (I am doing this from memory, someone correct me if I am wrong) up to 1 year.

So if you got your NOA1 on 1 OCT, you are still within your 4 months up until 1 FEB. So Jan would be ok. But here's the rub... once you do your medical, you have only 6 months to get to the US. So if she does her medical 15 Oct, and you do the interview on 15 Jan, she has to POE in the US by 15 APR.

It says that my NOA2 is up on January 19th, 2011 but I really need my tax statement for 2011 to show income is over the poverty level needed. Are you saying that we could still interview after January 19th 2012????
