I think you should look at the top bar of immigration guidelines and go into the Egypt portal. Set it up so you only see egyptian people. You can see how long it took everyone that completed their timelines. It appears it will take 11-13 months for easy ones.... but I am not sure if you are filing from Egypt or from USA. And the portal of Egypt does not say who filed DCF and who files from USA. Anyhow, I think if you plan on it taking 1 year and you get it done in 8 months then be happy. But others here will probably have more information then me cause I am still new to this process.

There are many Egyptians waiting since May for a interview date right now. We have a thread on NVC till Cairo interview that people post when NVC completes their case and we see how long it takes everyone to get the interview. Right now that seems to be about 6 month wait. The first part of application (I-130 application review from USCIS) can take anywhere from 3 months till ??? 6 months or more. So, I hope you are a lucky one and get it in 11 months.

Good luck

You cannot apply for IR-1 if you just get married. IR-1 is for people married over 2 years.

You will apply for CR-1 but I do not think it changes the timeline of the waiting
