As Far as I know, USCIS, is not asking for Original Documentations with the I-130, and you may be able to file the petition right now, but may need the original documents later on during the process.

USCIS:

09/06/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

09/07/11 - I130 Received

09/09/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to CSC)

02/27/2011 - NOA2 via text/email/website -I130 Approved!

I am in USA, I want to file a petition I-130 for my father who is in Pakistan, I have not my father's documents with me, My father has sent me scanned documents through email. Can I use them, is USCIS will accept these scanned prints"

Yes, you can use them and USCIS will accept them. Send photocopies or computer print outs with the I-130. NEVER EVER SEND AN ORIGINAL SUPPORTING DOCUMENT IN WITH THE I-130.

Remember to make photocopies of the original I-130 you send in. Putting this out there because there are occasional posts on this forum about people not making copies and running into problems.

Hi, will you please help me what is included in AOS package and what is in IV package,

so I can send for my mom, I paid fee almost one and half months ago and had no clue, I suppose to send them these packages.

Please help me here.

Is AOS is included DS-230 and IV is with affidavit of support form.

I will appreciate your reply with all the detail. What kind of form and documents I need for all that. And which barcode sheet goes with what.

Thanks in advance.
