So we just received an email format the NVC and i'm not quite sure I understand what they are saying.... I am hoping someone here can help us out :) . Here is what it says

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

We are unable to designate an agent to the case record at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change in the petitioner's or principal applicant's address.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

So I was thinking that the first part was sounding good because we just received our case number and invoice number and I was hoping that it meant we could move forward, but the second part about the agent I don't know what that means. Is it possible that they are referring to the DS 3032 that we sent by email yesterday? I tried to see if we could pay the AOS fee but it is saying sign in failed. If anyone could help we would really appreciate it.

It looks like they rejected your DS-3032. Probably because it was sent in to early (NVC wasn't ready for it). So, just re-send it asap and it'll be accepted next time :)

And you should be able to log into the payment portal soon. Just keep trying.
