Possible but unlikely. It is more common when the child is born to the alien wife outside the US, and then only when fraud is expected. Was he born in the US (makes it easier), or was he born outside the country, and of so, did you register his birth with the local US embassy?? In any event, you can call or email the embassy--they are very responsive to questions.

CDJ is not dangerous around the embassy...lots of reasonably priced hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and so forth. There are parts of the city that are extremely dangerous, but you won't be going there--hopefully !!

thanks for your response... yea our son was born in the United States and my husbands name is on the birth certificate and everything, do you think they would let me know of the DNA testing before his interview time? i was just trying to know because flights to mexico are not so cheap. Its good to know that CDJ isnt as bad as i thought :)

The DNA testing is typically for a child born to a non USC in a foreign country where there is a lot of visa fraud. The idea is to make sure it is a blood relative to the USC father since the child would be immigr7db2a2c1043a

Content-Disp this case you are are the USC and the child was born in the US, so there is no potnetial fraud involved at all at your end. Take a deep breath and call or email the embassy of you need to calm your nerves--the chances of requiring a test are essentially zero.

Don't where that garbage in the post came from...here it is again.
